The hotel has a Dutch management and it is an excellent starting-point for all the sights in the direct surroundings, but also a place to relax, lying in a hammock near the swimming pool.

• visit to the impressive Nauyaca waterfalls, swimming in the lake under the waterfall
• visit to Hacienda Barú park with monkeys, anteaters, beautifully colored birds and much more
• visit to the Indian village of Boruca, where the inhabitants make beautiful masks and weave colored materials on traditional looms
